Hey! My name is Jill Guy and I have been lucky enough to have been teaching at the Wainwright High School for 12 years now. I grew up in Vermilion and attended post-secondary at the University of Alberta, where I graduated in 2005 with a Bachelors degree in Education. I truly am blessed as I get to teach both of my specialties, Math and Physical Education. From a young age I have enjoyed helping others and love to see them accomplish their goals. I also am a fierce competitor and am up for any type of competition! I love to see that spark in students eyes when I am coaching, no matter if it is Volleyball, Track, or in PE class.
I live in Edgerton with my husband and our cat Rascal. Growing up in a small town, I truly appreciate all that a small town has to offer. We also have cattle, horses, and a little herd of miniature donkeys that keep us busy. In my spare time I enjoy playing volleyball, curling, fastball, slowpitch, golf, or competing in fun races (Tri-a-tri or Foam Fest).... I'm really up for anything that I can participate in with my friends! I also love to travel and have been able to do that, with my most recent trip being to Seattle this spring to cheer on the Blue Jays!
